Perfumes Wishlist

A woman's perfume tells more about her than her handwriting as quoted by Monsieur Christian Dior. After viewing many fragrances and perfumes products in market, I've decided to change my current perfumes to either one of these three:
  • Daisy by Marc Jacobs which aims to capture a fragrance of youthful sophistication with this eau de toilette. The composition of the notes includes strawberry, violet and ruby red grapefruit on the top make a fresh impact. A base of musk, vanilla and white woods balance out tones of gardenia and jasmine.

  • On the contrary, Lola by Marc Jacobs is a warm, floral scent with a signature note of fuchsia peony. Fruity top notes of pink peppercorn, pear d’anjou and red grapefruit deepen to the fuchsia heart, which also contains rose and geranium. Base notes of vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk finish the scent. The bottle is violet with a curvaceous silhouette and is topped with a unique cap fashioned into a rosette in fuchsia, berry and plum colour.

  • Last but not least, Believe by Britney Spears. The fragrance itself opens in fruity mouthwatering notes of guava and tangerine. The heart is 'maidenly' delicate and pure (honeysuckle and linden blossom). The base is highly feminine and sensual, a beautiful accord of patchouli, amber and sweet praline notes, revealed to the world by Thierry Mugler in Angel (in blue!). The green color of Britney Spears' new fragrance besides refreshment promises a sweet desert.

Currently, I'm using M by Mariah Carey which the captivating oriental-floral has top notes of marshmallow and sea breeze accord, a heart of living Tahitian Tiare flower and gardenia and a dry down of sheer amber, patchouli, and Moroccan incense. The lilac purple bottle features a refined glass butterfly-shaped cap. Besides that, I'm also using Mariah Carey Luscious Pink which a “sparkling floral”; to my nose, the emphasis is laid on the sparkling far more than the floral. The opening is fresh and diffusive, with pale pink fruits — I don’t know what fruits those would be, in particular, but that’s what they smell like: pale pink fruits (notes: bergamot, Ocean Breeze accord, sparkling Bellini accord, Tahitian Tiare, lily of the valley, pink peony, bright blond woods, creamy sandalwood and white musk). It’s very cheerful and clean and transparent, and the floral notes in the heart, well, they smell like pale pink flowers. The base is a very pale woody musk, and it’s pink-ish too.

But on special ocassion, I would put on Nina by Nina Ricci which the namesake fragrance from Nina Ricci is magical, a promise of enchantment with the radiant power of seduction. Combining temptation, femininity, and modernity, it's a fresh, fruity floral sprinkled with a tantalizing accord.

The fragrance incorporates top notes of Calabrese Lemon and Cipirinha Lime for a sparkling and spontaneous beginning. Midnotes of Red Toffee Apple and Vanilla Infusion create a charming and seductive femininity and Moonflower and Peony Petals add gentle and delicate breath. Rounding it out are base notes of Apple Tree Wood and Cotton Musk ending in a tender sensual caress.
